Petitioners claim Unemployment Insurance decreased

The number of Americans who ask for new unemployment benefits fell again last week, continuing a trend that indicates the labor market is slowly improving in America.
A separate report from the government show the price hikes of food and fuel contributed to the largest increase for the Consumer Price Index since June 2009.

Unemployment InsuranceThe jobless claims report from the Labor Department reported by the VOANews mentioned, the number of applicants for unemployment insurance fell for the third time in four weeks, after adjustment for the season to be 385,000. The average of new unemployment claims for four weeks at the lowest level since July 2008, which included the early days of the current economic crisis.

U.S. Federal Reserve earlier this week claimed the labor market is improving and the economy have a much stronger footing, although the recovery continues to slow.
