Disease Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA) is an autoimmune disease that occurs due to the body is attacked by its own immune system that cause inflammation in the joints. RA disease was found to be associated with 8 types of cancer although the risk is low. Researchers say the increased risk need to know in order to try to minimize such risk factors. "The risk of all of these is very, very low" said Stanley Cohen, MD, clinical professor of internal medicine at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School and co-director of the division of rheumatology at Presbyterian Hospital, in Dallas.
