The contribution of insurance industry in Asia and Africa for the state revenue is still very low. However, it also shows that the potential in the region still can continue develop and grow rapidly.
Therefore, the various leaders of insurance companies, reinsurance, and reinsurance broker member of FAIR (Federation of Afro Asian Insurers and Reinsurers) in order to be a driving force for the growth of the industry.
FAIR was founded in 1964 in Cairo by 20 representatives of Asian and African countries that have agreed to establish cooperation in the development of insurance industry in Asia and Africa. FAIR was established not only as a symbolic form of togetherness aspirations of Asia and Africa, but also as a manifestation of a more meaningful purpose for both the insurance industry as well as in economic development.
FAIR currently consists of 246 companies from 52 countries in Asia and Africa.
