Scientists develop nano-sensor programming to find cancer cells in blood samples. These sensors 'sniff' blood samples to find biomarkers of breast and prostate cancer. Associate Director of the Yale Institute for nanoscience and Quantum Engineering Mark Reed said, this technology can be applied to various types of cancer.
This nano sensors will allow doctors to work more quickly through the results of laboratory research and find cancers early before they become larger.
These findings also will solve the problems often faced by the medical world in detecting biomarkers for ovarian cancer, lung, and pancreas.
" nano technology can work on the sub-cellular level in discovering biomarkers of cancer ," said Reed.
Currently, there are many cancer biomarkers that have been identified, but scientists hope to find more.
If the scientists already have a list of biomarkers, their nano sensors will be ordered to find him.
